Now this is a rare one. I can't give much information on this, except that I think that it was probably recorded at the WBIG studio which was in the basement of the O. Henry Hotel in Greensboro, NC. Slim and Wilma Martin were both multi instrumentalists and singers who are probably best known for their work with Charlie Monroe in the late 40s and early 50s. Slim is the harmonica player heard on Monroe's RCA cut of Bringing In the Georgia Mail.
I bought this 78 at an estate auction a couple months ago. Enjoy this one, you'll probably never hear it anywhere else. If you know anything about Slim and Wilma, O'Henry Recording Company, or anything related, please let me know.

Rev. M. L. Thrasher and His Gospel Singers
Here's a nice batch of 22 sides recorded by Rev. M. L. Thrasher and his Gospel Singers in the late 1920s. If anyone knows anything about Rev. Thrasher, please let me know. I think he had a great group of musicians and singers and I would love to know more about them. All of these recordings were recorded in Atlanta, GA. I found all of these at a thrift store in a small town not terribly far from there a couple years ago. Enjoy!!
